Phew! What a close shave. I was stalked by a china man around the size of me while i walked from chinese garden mrt station to my house. The route i took is really quite desserted, pitch dark just right beside the path. It was around near 12am and i am sure that after i walked past the overhead bridge, there was no one behind me. Just when i walk past the first traffic light, i felt a feature that kept tailing behind me, pacing up to my brisk walking speed. Because i used the second traffic light which requires me to walk through a path where its pitch dark right beside it. I felt so odd.. so just turn back and saw this china man in his 30s wearing a white tee shirt. I didn't feel much threatened at first because he was about the same size as me and he doesn't seemed to be carrying any weapon to rob. And i suddenly decided to turn to cross the road to walk to a brighter place towards my house where i see people walking along the canal. Immediately he just turned the same direction as me and crossed the road. I was lucky to have crossed the road before the crossing incoming car that actually prevented him from pacing up. So, eventually i just paced up to the two people infront of me.. safe

But thinking back, if i didn't had take up some kicks from my cca, i might have ran for my life frantically and would not have kept so calm.

For so many times i worked for KT, today is the first time i was being questioned so multiple times. Some of them are so hilarious. Let me share a few of them.

Went down to bugis with jing wei today and we were early. And so, it's good that we didn't need to rush or "cheat" the first few minutes. Haha. i worked at a taxi stand outside Sim Lim Square and the place is of course, better than most other taxi stands. I'm able to sit and sun tan alittle. But this job's nature is BORING, which i already knew all along. Taking this up as a job can train my patience... stay in the same place for 9 holy hours, just to look at people and taxis. Let me practice my oral on the picture taken on my sitting spot...

From this picture above, i can see a series of shops lined up horizontally. I deduce that the other shops that still has not open up their shops are facing "no business" situation because this picture was taken after 11am. From the left hand side of the picture, a man was seen to be sitting under a huge green umbrella, sheltering a table and some plastic chairs. Therefore i conclude that these is no much business for these camera shop, since the shop tender is resting so "peacefully" on the chair. At the foreground of the picture, there is a yellow signboard on the floor. Although from the picture, the words cannnot be seen, but everyone knows " Caution, wet floor" is written on it. Puzzlingly, not even a pool of water can be seen. The signboard was there just for laughs....

During work, quite alot of people came up to me to ask me for directions and other requests. Firstly this two look like japanese tourist came up to me with a map and asked: " Do you know where is sim lim sq?" while pointing to the place on the map in his hands. =.='', so i responded.." Oh, sim lim, its here, this building. He smiled and thanked, then when into the building. Second one came to me. An auntie this time, "excuse me, do u know where is the bus stop around here? I stood up, flipping through my given map and said: erm, im not sure. and i look aroud, then a bus happened to pass by, den auntie says: "oh, there.. thanks". haha, i guess i helped nothing at all. Third- A caucasian with her girlfriend in yellow came to me and asked: " Do you knwo where the nearest MRT station is?" I said: Ya, bugis.. He took out his map of the whole of singapore and expcted me to show him how to walk there.. haha. Never mind, i just show him my map and told him the direction of where he should go. Forth person, an indian uncle came up to me and asled:" do u know how to go Little India? Mustafa? Haa, I dunno sia. Fifth, a maid was waiting for his boyfriend i think, asked me where is "this" place. So i gave her the full name and road name so she can sms her boyfriend. Den she asked me where can she charge her handphone. I wanted to say, erm, your house lor de leh.. lol. Den 6th, a lady was frustrated because she waited for more than 10 minutes and not even a taxi came, and she came to me and say, errr, are you the one who helps to call the taxi? lol, den i told her im only a surveyor. Haha, if i help to call i must tell boss to increase pay le lor. haha. 7th, an auntie came to me and asked.. excuse me, do u know where is the taxi stand?? den i shifted my body and point to her: norh.. here lor. haha, funny sia. Maybe i look bigger than the taxi stand bah.. so sorry to have blocked her view. Last one! This china man called for a taxi but DUNNOE how to converse in english. He panicked and turned to me and asked me.. 您知道这是哪儿吗?I replied.. its sim lim sq.. and he repeated after me: 死你死鬼?haha,. den he immediately give me his handphone to tell the taxi driver to inform him the place. Later after that, he ask his friend also from china "新加坡的司机咤都不会话语的呢?"Lol.. didn't he know that uncle is an indian??

Another nice car. Quite nicely taken i guess..

Anyways must thanks guo shu for helping me pay for the grading fees first. i will go training this coming tuesday, sure!

And must thanks HIM for chatting with me at work to kill my boredom..
